Week 3: Biology Superhero

The Sleeper is involved in many life-threatening situations. He is able to alleviate pain by making someone go into a deep sleep at any time of the day. He takes advantage of the reticular formation (the part of the brain that is associated with sleep and consciousness) and the endorphins (hormone that reduces pain).

The Sleeper was born with these amazing superpowers, and he had a lot of fun using them during his childhood. He grew up in a normal town and went to a normal school. School was boring for him, so each day he would hack into one of his colleague's brain and make them fall asleep during class. The teachers would become furious and scream at the student for not paying attention, and this was very entertaining to The Sleeper. He also took advantage of his power to make his enemies fail tests by making them sleep until time was up. The Sleeper was never caught despite multiple efforts by the school to try to find out why their students were always dozing off during class. The Sleeper went on to graduate college with a degree in medicine, and he now works as a doctor.

During work, The Sleeper goes by his childhood name. He makes millions as a doctor because he can simply cure a patient's pain by making them fall asleep. In his free time, he becomes The Sleeper by putting on his mask and traveling around his city to search for crime. When he finds a robber stealing something, he simply makes the robber become unconscious and calls the police. If he sees bullying on the streets, he makes the bully and the victim fall asleep. As a plus, the victim's pain will be gone when he wakes up.

One major disadvantage is that The Sleeper is not able to travel very quickly, so he has some allies to help him keep the entire world safe! The Empathizer (https://rannonh2019psych.blogspot.com), the Masked Puppeteer (https://philip2019psych.blogspot.com), and Reflex (https://kennethl2019psych.blogspot.com) all have astonishing powers that help form the Sticky Psychos superhero squad.
